Well Hello Team!
As you are all aware we hold an annual Fit Stuff Fundraiser. In the past years we have raised an amazing amount of money for both ‘Breast Cancer – Team Pink’ and local organisation “Pink Pamper Packs – Development of a womens center’. This year, however we have decided to give the men some support! We have chosen mens health as our focus for 2012. There is a number of members and trainers who’s families have been affected by depression or prostate cancer and we are sure you all have been affected in someway also or know someone who has. With this in mind our chosen charity for the year will be MOVEMBER. Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise over $5000.00.
We would like to put friendly pressure on you all to register, donate and to be as much involved as you possibly and humanly can. I know not all of you are into growing Moe’s but it’s for one month out of your life and the reason behind it is so worth it. We will be taking clean shaven photos on the 1st of November and updating the progress weekly by posting these pics to our Fit Stuff Team Mo-Vember space website and our Fit Stuff Facebook page. The final shave will be at the end of the month on Saturday the 1st of December with a planned and organised event in the park as a way to celebrate and will be a fantastic day for the family . Location for our fundraiser is Regional Park Capalaba behind Bunnings starting at 11am-2pm. We will have the local major attending Karen Williams, Andrew Laming, Raffles, BBQ, Strongman Comp, activities for parents & kids, local sports people & more…. Get behind this awesome charity and give the blokes a hand for once and let’s hit our target of $5000!!
