Fit Stuff

When I moved over from New Zealand August 2005 I realized that the good life I had in NZ had caught up with me and if I did not change my life I would be heading towards a disastrous end.  So I decided in Jan 2006 to join the gym and change my life, which need to be done at 110 Kgs at 29.  So I started visiting the gym 5 – 6 times a week and at the time had a personal trainer 1 time a week to push me further.  At the time my trainer was Shaun.   Shaun left the gym and Chris took me on and at the time decided to turn up my training schedule to 3 times a week with a trainer.  After a couple years of training I noticed my weight had dropped substantially to which I wanted to lose more and get fitter, so when Nathan and Chris started Fit Stuff I was excited as this was going to give me an added fitness boost.

Outdoor boot camps are amazing, you meet so many people in the same situation as yourself and it is so much fun.  Getting out of the ordinary weights and treadmills and actually running around and lifting everyday materials and odd shaped material is great.  What a good way to start the day.

Fit Stuff has helped me maintain and get fitter with all the activities all year round at such a great value.  After 5 years of looking after myself I am now down to 87kgs and still enjoy all the good things in life.  After realizing my passion and need to see results I got together with Craig a personal trainer and developed a Fitness website which allows clients to manage their progress with capturing results and graphing the results for easy viewing and allows clients to achieve their goals.   Again I can’t thank Chris, Nathan and the rest of the Fit Stuff crew for keeping me motivated and giving us this edge and outdoor experience.

Good luck guys and I look forward to more years doing your Boot camp even in the cold of winter.  Nothing will keep me away Rain, Hail or shine.
