Welcome to “Fast For 12-16 Hours Per Day For 7 Days”. This challenge is designed to allow you an opportunity to experience a lighter more energised body and mind. Fasting has hit the mainstream but has been around for hundreds if not thousands of years.
We, as a western culture overeat, overindulge and consume far too many foods that lack nutrients and are detrimental to our health. One of the cheapest and easiest ways to shift unwanted and unnecessary body fat, reduce inflammation, ease our digestion and reignite our energy levels anymore…
Introduce a form of fasting into your lifestyle to help you address all of these. The key is to stay well hydrated and to always continue drinking water, allow your body to adapt and experience the fast by starting with shorter timeframes such as 12 hours then build up from here.
Please seek medical advice if you are currently on any medication for any type of lifestyle or chronic disease. Staying active and sitting less pays dividends in the wheel of longevity and your health span will be increased even further.
Stay mobile and move as often as possible! “If you don’t use it, you lose it”
Remember your health is your wealth!!!!!
Conscious living is the best way of living!!!! Health is a large Umbrella word encompassing mental health, physical health, spiritual health and emotional heath and more…
Watch my VIDEO so that you feel prepared for your challenge over the next 7 days! These 7-day challenges will promote positive habits allowing you to build upon driving you towards the best version of you. #sticktothedamnplan
I wanted to chat to you about how to find the motivation and drive to stay fit and healthy.
If I am truthful, I have struggled the last few months because I haven’t had any of my endurance events on which is normally my drive and motivation. I changed my perspective and have taken the last few months to really let my body do some healing from the last few years of events while maintaining my fitness and health. It’s ok to change your goals and way of thinking to deal with when life changes. I believe this allows us to stay positive.
I want you to all remember that I am always here if you need help to re set your goals, to get some motivation back or even to turn some negative thoughts into positive, so you can get yourself back on track.
Creating a checklist can be a great starting point, here are 6 points to get you started. 1.How are my goals going that I set at the beginning of the year (not to freak you out but half the year is gone) 2.Am I in a positive frame of mind (am I thinking like the athlete that I am and believing in myself) 3.Am I nurturing my body with amazing food (you can’t expect your mind and body to work for you without the proper fuel, it’s like putting diesel into a car that runs on petrol) 4.Have I slipped back into some bad habits (it’s ok if this happens just don’t wait until “Monday ” to change them, change one today) 5.Am I organised (plan your week with your workout times and plan your food for the week) 6.Reach out for support (Whether it’s a training goal, nutrition goal or a personal goal there is always someone to help you.)
