I joined Goodlife Healthclub at Cleveland in January 09, where I participated in my first 12 week challenge losing 12.4kg. As soon as the challenge was finished, I slipped back into my old bad habits and the team that I did the challenge with seemed to dissipate slowly and we lost the comradery and team spirit. I then proceeded to participate in the second challenge, which I didn’t do any good in because my heart wasn’t truly in it. My wife started going to Saturday morning boot camps towards the end of the second challenge, and they sounded like a lot of fun. So I decided to go to one during the week which I found to be a lot of fun. After one boot camp, I was hooked. I now go three times a week and love the team spirit and the way that I was welcomed openly by the rest of the participants. Since I have been going to boot camp, I have got my food back on track and my fitness levels have increased ten fold. I haven’t been this fit since I was in the army. I now look forward to the morning sessions. The team spirit we have is unbelievable. I have made some great friends and can’t thank Chris Vassallo and Nathan Devlin enough for giving me a new lease on life.
